You might taste subtle notes of fig, molasses and hazelnut
Mellow, smooth yet complex
With only two ingredients, this chocolate packs a lot of flavour due to Vanuatu soil allowing for all of the beans to have a unique flavour profile
Ingredients: Vanuatu cacao beans (70%), sugar
Gluten, nut, dairy and soy free. Suitable for Vegans
Sorry to see packaging nolonger compostable
Nice enough, but flavour profile seems quite simple. Certainly compared with single origin Vanuatu from Raglan for example. Also not very smooth. Much prefer the single origin PNG but that isn't particularly smooth either.
We enjoy tasting single origin chocolate but of all those we've tasted from different geographies and manufacturers, our favourite is OCHO Vanuatu. There is an earthiness, a hint of 'grit feel' but also a rich smoothness. Contradictory maybe but a sensational bar of choccie!!!
This isn't chocolate you rush to eat; you enjoy it by the square, savouring the different flavours you pick up. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
